lyrics
My veneer holds
Like buckling ceiling bending
A smile weighing three decades
A lifetime to cultivate a regimen
With excuses in excess ignored
Birthday cards with ballpoint pen doodles
Guitars, primitive and honest
Supplements to the few words
I remember audibly, mostly remotely
Relaxed inflections reminding me
I haven’t crumbled
Pioneering Rhode Island mathcore legends follow up their first album in 21 years with a head-spinning four-track EP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
